Here is a little about myself.I was born on January 18th, 1985. I live with my mom in Moscow, Russia, and my dad lives in New York.
Since my childhood I liked to watch my mom cook (she does exceptionally well). I always tried to help her as much as I could. Cooking is similar to magic. It bewitches. You take various products, process them, cook, add different spices, of course not forgetting to stir slowly from time to time, and than you get a great tasting meal - isn't it magic?
As soon as I learned to write, I got a small notebook, and started to write down culinary recipes. Soon enough I had to get another, much bigger notebook.
There are a lot of recipes. How many chefs are in the world, and women who simply love and enjoy cooking? How many different countries, and nationalities are there? All of them have their own kitchens and customs in preparing food. In the early days, neighbors always used to share culinary recipes. And now, with the development of the Internet, there is an opportunity to share the secrets of culinary skill with the entire world.
I always had a desire to create a web site to be able to share my growing collection of tasty meals with you. My dad has undertaken the project of creating this website, and mom became my culinary adviser. That's how our small family business came together despite the distance.
Our site specializes in seafood recipes. Why seafood? The majority of you aspire to eat healthy, pure, and organic food. These qualities are found in seafood. Especially in fish, which are found in salty waters of ocean, deep-water fishes (usually flat shaped), and the mountain rivers' fish.
Diets, diets and once again diets! How many were already created and how many are still to surface. All of them are similar and will tell you the same thing - avoid fatty food. How about fish fat? Any doctor and the dietician will tell you that a human cannot exist without fat, and cod-liver oil is the most suitable fat for a human body. Omega-3 contains EPA and DHA, two fatty acids that help support and maintain a healthy cardiovascular system. They are considered one of the "good" fats that are important for cellular, heart and metabolic health. Also, fish contains all the necessary minerals, vitamins and salts which are vital for the human body, (Potassium, Selenium, Niacin, Magnesium, Vitamin B12, sodium, calcium, phosphorus, iron, iodine, etc.) especially for children and older people.
On top of that seafood is very low in carbs, which is very important for diabetics and weight watchers in general, where carbohydrate levels can be a main dietary factor. So you have two choices: go to the pharmacy and get bottles and bottles of Omega-3 pills and other vitamins or prepare a tasty home made dishes that your family and friends will enjoy.
I have tried to make this collection of culinary recipes as extensive as possible, but it wasn't easy to capture all the recipes. Everybody has their own way of preparing seafood meals, I will be glad if you share some of your recipes with us. I would appreciate your feedback, and your suggestions for this side.
