Cajun Shrimp Cornbread Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup raw shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 (16-ounce) can cream style corn
  • 1/3 cup oil
  • 1/2 cup grated Cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup white corn meal
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • Chopped jalapeno peppers, to taste
How to cook Cajun Shrimp Cornbread:
  • Combine eggs, corn and oil; add cheese and mix.
  • Stir in corn meal, baking soda and salt; add shrimp, onions and jalapeno peppers and mix.
  • Bake at 350°F for 45 minutes in a greased 9 x 12-inch baking pan.
