How to cook Calamares
- 1 pound pusit (squids), cleaned and cut into rings (around 1 inch thick)
- 1/2 cup bread crumbs
- 1 beaten egg
- Salt and pepper
- Clean the squid by removing the skin and innards then wash well and slice into rings.
- Dip in beaten egg and roll over the bread crumbs then deep fry until golden brown over medium heat.
- Serve the Calamares hot with ketchup or your favorite dipping sauce.
