Calamares Recipe

Serves/Makes: 4 servings

Ingredients:

  • 1 pound pusit (squids), cleaned and cut into rings (around 1 inch thick)
  • 1/2 cup bread crumbs
  • 1 beaten egg
  • Salt and pepper
How to cook Calamares:
  • Clean the squid by removing the skin and innards then wash well and slice into rings.
  • Dip in beaten egg and roll over the bread crumbs then deep fry until golden brown over medium heat.
  • Serve the Calamares hot with ketchup or your favorite dipping sauce.
