Escalloped Oysters Recipe

Serves/Makes: 4


  • 1 pint oysters
  • 2 cups crushed crackers
  • 2 large onions, sliced
  • 1/2 cube butter, melted
  • 1/2 cup cream
How to cook Escalloped Oysters:
  • Drain oysters and combine oyster liquor with cream and melted butter.
  • Arrange layers of oysters, onions, crumbs in oiled baking dish, topping with crumbs.
  • Pour over all the liquid and bake in 400°F (200°C) oven 20 minutes until top is lightly browned.
