Filipino Marinated Fish (Kinilaw na Isda) Recipe

Serves/Makes: 4 - 6

Ingredients:

  • 1 whole fresh milkfish (bangus) or tuna, tangigue, etc., about 1 1/2 to 2 pounds
  • 1 root ginger
  • 1/4 cups vinegar
  • Salt to taste
How to cook Filipino Marinated Fish (Kinilaw na Isda):
  • Clean, debone, and cut the fish in small cubes.
  • Mix the fish in a mixture of vinegar, salt, and slices of ginger.
  • Let stand for one hour in the refrigerator, then serve cold.
