Indonesian Sambal Udang Recipe

Indonesian Sambal Udang recipe Serves/Makes: 6

Ingredients:

  • 2 pounds shrimps (prawns), cleaned
  • 3 tablespoons sambal tomat*
  • 2 chili peppers
  • 1 cup coconut milk
  • 1 tomato, sliced
  • 1 stalk lemongrass, bruised
How to cook Indonesian Sambal Udang:
  • Stir-fry the shrimps (prawns) for 2 minutes. Add the sambal tomat, chilies, coconut cream, lemon grass and pepper and salt to taste and cook three minutes on high heat. Take out the lemon grass and add the tomatoes.

Notes:

The Indonesian Sambal Udang or Prawn Sambal recipe very easy to prepare and so good! The Prawn Sambal recipe is popular in Bali. Bali is a beautiful Indonesian island. It is also known as the Island of Paradise or the Island of the Gods.
