Norwegian Cod Fish Soup Recipe
Serves/Makes: 6
Ingredients:
- 1/2 pound cod fillet, cubed
- 1/2 pound carrots, cut into strips
- 1/2 pound turnip, cut into strips
- Bunch of chives, chopped
- 1/2 teaspoon curry powder
- 4 cups fish stock
- 1 egg
- 1 tablespoon corn starch
- 4 tablespoons cream
- Stir fry the turnip and carrots 5 minutes, add the fish stock, the curry and the cod fish.
- Bring to the boil and simmer for 5 minutes. Finally add the chives.
- Stir the egg, the cream and the corn starch together and add this to the soup.
- Heat the soup a little more but be careful not to let it boil.
- Serve the Norwegian Cod Fish Soup immediately with crusted bread.
