Norwegian Cod Fish Soup Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 pound cod fillet, cubed
  • 1/2 pound carrots, cut into strips
  • 1/2 pound turnip, cut into strips
  • Bunch of chives, chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon curry powder
  • 4 cups fish stock
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tablespoon corn starch
  • 4 tablespoons cream
How to cook Norwegian Cod Fish Soup:
  • Stir fry the turnip and carrots 5 minutes, add the fish stock, the curry and the cod fish.
  • Bring to the boil and simmer for 5 minutes. Finally add the chives.
  • Stir the egg, the cream and the corn starch together and add this to the soup.
  • Heat the soup a little more but be careful not to let it boil.
  • Serve the Norwegian Cod Fish Soup immediately with crusted bread.
