Oyster Submarine Recipe

Ingredients:

  • Oysters
  • 1 (14-inch / 35-cm) long bread
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • Butter
  • Mayonnaise
  • Oil
  • Shredded lettuce
  • 1 sliced tomato
  • 1 sliced lemon
How to cook:
  • Slice bread lengthwise garnish both halves with garlic.
  • Spread one side with butter, the other with mayonnaise.
  • Reserve.
  • Fry oysters in hot oil (375°F / 190°C), for 3 minutes.
  • Garnish one side of bread with shredded lettuce, layer half of cooked oysters and top with tomato slices.
  • Top with remaining cooked oysters and then with lemon slices.
  • Press two halves of bread together.
  • Bake for 3 to 5 minutes, in a preheated 400°F (200°C) oven.

Notes:

The Oyster Submarine is a very affordable dish. Delicious, simple, and easy recipe. Can be ready in 10 minutes.
