Oysters with White Wine Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 24 fresh oysters (in shells)
  • 1/4 cup (60 mL) soda cracker crumbs
  • 1/4 cup (60 mL) white wine
  • 24 slices of bacon
  • White wine
How to cook:
  • Open-up oyster shells, reserving 12 to 24 shells transfer oysters into a bowl.
  • Mix together soda cracker crumbs and white wine evenly spoon part of the mixture into reserved shells.
  • Add one or two oysters sprinkle with remaining soda cracker crumbs mixture.
  • Top each shell with a slice of bacon.
  • Bake into a preheated 500°F (260°C) oven, onto higher rack, for 10 minutes, to just curl bacon slices.
  • Sprinkle with a few drops of white wine and serve.
