Ingredients:

  • 2 cups flaked tuna fish, canned or freshly cooked
  • 2 cups cooked taro.
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 1 egg
  • Flour for coating
  • Oil for frying
  • Salt and pepper to taste
How to cook Polynesian Easy Taro Fish Cakes:
  • Remove the bones from the fish.
  • Mash the taro.
  • Mix together tuna fish, taro, egg, chopped onion, salt and pepper.
  • Shape the mixture into flat cakes.
  • Dip fish cakes in flour and fry in hot oil.
