Polynesian Easy Taro Fish Cakes Recipe
Serves/Makes: 4 servings
Ingredients:
- 2 cups flaked tuna fish, canned or freshly cooked
- 2 cups cooked taro.
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 1 egg
- Flour for coating
- Oil for frying
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Remove the bones from the fish.
- Mash the taro.
- Mix together tuna fish, taro, egg, chopped onion, salt and pepper.
- Shape the mixture into flat cakes.
- Dip fish cakes in flour and fry in hot oil.
Note:
Tips:
Cooked yams or sweet potatoes can be used instead of taro.
