Russian Pie with Fish Recipe
Serves/Makes: 6 - 8
Ingredients:
- 1 cup rye flour
- 1 cup wheat flour
- 2 ounces butter
- 3/4 cup water
- Salt to taste
- Yolk to brush
- 1 1/2 pounds fish fillet
- 2 onions
- 2 tablespoons oil
- 2 tablespoons milk
Filling
- Knead dough, roll out finely 1/2 inch thick, sprinkle with flour and put in a fridge for a half an hour.
- For the filling, grind fillet and onion in a mincer, add milk and oil and knead the filling.
- Put the filling evenly on a half and cover with another one, pinch the edges and brush with yolk.
- Bake in a preheated oven on low heat for 1-1,5 hour.
