How to cook Sauteed Scallops around Tartar Sauce
- 1 dozen scallops
- Fine dry bread crumbs
- Slices of lemon
- Small bowl of tartar sauce
- Drop 1 dozen scallops into rapidly boiling water. Boil for 1 minute, then drain and place on soft cloth.
- Roll the scallops in the fine bread crumbs and saute lightly in hot butter until golden brown.
- Place a toothpick in each scallop for easy handling and serve on a bed of parsley with slices of lemon in a ring around a small bowl of tartar sauce.
