Seafood Pie (1) Recipe
Serves/Makes: 1 pie
Ingredients:
- 1 pound (454 g) boiled shrimps
- 1 pound (454 g) boiled lobster meat, diced
- 1 pound (454 g) scallops
- 2 (9-inch / 23-cm) flaky pastry shells
- Butter
- 1/2 cup (125 mL) minced onion
- 1/2 cup (125 mL) minced celery
- Approximately 3 cups (750 mL) medium white sauce
- 1/4 cup (60 mL) processed yellow cheese (sold in bars)
- 1/2 pound (227 g) cream cheese
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Brown together onion, celery and scallops in melted butter.
- Into a saucepan, prepare white sauce.
- Stir in processed yellow cheese and cream cheese.
- Mix in scallops mixture, lobster and crab meat dices and shrimps.
- Pour mixture into a flaky pastry shell.
- Top with remaining pastry shell.
- Bake into a preheated 425°F (220°C) oven for approximately 25 minutes, until golden brown.
