Simmered Tilapia (Adobong Tilapia) Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 kg (approximately 1 pound) medium size tilapia fish
  • 5-6 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup vinegar
  • 1/3 cup water
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 teaspoon vet-sin
  • 2 tablespoons cooking oil
How to cook Simmered Tilapia (Adobong Tilapia):
  • Scrape scales of fish. Clean.
  • Arrange on shallow pan. Add all ingredients.
  • Cover. Let boil, then lower heat and simmer for 15 - 20 minutes.
  • Serve hot with steamed rice.
