Danish Smoked Salmon Potato Pie Recipe
Serves/Makes: 4
Ingredients:
- 1/2 pound smoked salmon, cut into thin strips
- 1 pound potatoes
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 2 eggs
- 4 tablespoons bread crumbs
- 2 ounces butter, cubed
- Handful dill, chopped
How to cook Danish Smoked Salmon Potato Pie:
- Cook the potatoes 15 minutes and slice them.
- Put 1/3 of the potato slices on the bottom of a greased oven dish.
- Put half of the salmon, and half of the onions on top.
- Repeat this process and end with a layer of potato slices.
- Mix the sour cream with the eggs and dill and pour this over the potatoes.
- Sprinkle with bread crumbs and distribute the butter evenly over the bread crumbs.
- Bake about 20 minutes in the oven at 375°F (180°C).
