
Chinese Barbecued Shrimp Recipe
Ingredients:
- 1 pound large prawns or shrimp
- 1/2 cup sesame seed oil
- 1/2 cup peanut oil
- 2 tablespoons Chinese oil
- 1 large lemon
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1 teaspoon curry powder
- 2 green onions
- 1 teaspoon ground ginger
How to cook Chinese Barbecued Shrimp:
- Combine oil, crushed garlic, lemon juice of 1 lemon and grated peel, finely chopped, onion, ginger and curry powder.
- Marinate peeled and cleaned prawns or shrimp for 1 hour, or longer, if time permits.
- Grill over medium hot coals basting constantly.
- Serve the Chinese Barbecued Shrimp immediately with dipping sauce*.

*Combine 1 cup peanut butter, 1/2 cup coconut milk and 1 tablespoon curry powder for an exotic dipping sauce.
