
Czech Broiled Salmon Steaks Recipe
Serves/Makes: 4
Ingredients:
- 4 salmon steaks (about 6 ounces each), 1 inch thick
- 4 tablespoons olive oil
- Juice from 2 lemons
- 2 tablespoons fresh dill, chopped
- 4 shallots, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, mashed
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
How to cook Czech Broiled Salmon Steaks:
- Wash the salmon steaks gently in cold water, then dry in paper towels. Season them with salt and freshly ground black pepper.
- Place the salmon steaks in a glass dish. Pour on the oil and lemon juice, then add the dill, shallots, and garlic.
- Leave the salmon to marinate in the fridge, covered, for about 1 hour.
- Preheat the broiler in your oven.
- Place the salmon steaks on a baking sheet and put some of the marinade on top of each.
- Broil for 10 minutes till golden.
- Serve the broiled salmon steaks with lemon wedges.
