
Filipino Fish Adobo (Adobong Isda) Recipe
Ingredients:
- 1 pound fish fillets (use any firm white fish)
- 3 cups green peppers, chopped
- 1 tablespoon oil
- 5 tablespoons white vinegar
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 1/2 cup onions, chopped
- 2 bay leaves
- 1/3 cup water, boiling
How to cook Filipino Fish Adobo (Adobong Isda):
- Use any firm white fish. Cut fish into individual serving pieces and rub with salt. Fry the fish in hot oil until browned. Remove fish from pan.
- Add garlic and onions to pan, cooking until onion is translucent. Add bay leaves, peppers, and vinegar.
- Cook slowly until the peppers are tender. Add the fish and boiling water.
- Simmer 5 minutes and serve the Filipino Fish Adobo hot.
