
Filipino Sweet and Spicy Prawns Recipe
Ingredients:
- 1/2 pound large prawns (shrimps), peeled and deveined
- Oil for deep frying
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 4 tablespoons tomato sauce
- 2 tablespoons water
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 red chili, sliced
How to cook Filipino Sweet and Spicy Prawns:
- Deep fry prawn then set aside.
- Saute garlic and onion until fragrant.
- Add in the rest of the sauce ingredients and simmer for 5 minutes.
- Add in the fried prawn and simmer for 2 minutes.
- Serve hot with steamed rice.
