
French Prawn au Gratin Recipe
Serves/Makes: 4
Ingredients:
- 2 pounds prawns, shelled and cleaned
- 2 dried red chilies, chopped
- 3 ounces cheese, grated
- 2 onions, chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, mashed
- 7 ounces cream
- 4 ounces milk
How to cook French Prawn au Gratin:
- Fry the onions for 5 minutes.
- Add the garlic and chilies and fry 3 minutes more.
- Put this mixture on the bottom of an oven dish, and put the prawns on top.
- Mix the milk and cream and add some salt and pepper and pour over the prawns.
- Sprinkle the grated cheese on top.
- Put under the grill for 10 minutes.
