
Garlic Broiled Shrimp Recipe
Ingredients:
- 2 pounds unpeeled large fresh shrimp
- 1/2 cup butter or margarine, melted
- 1/2 cup olive oil
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
- 1 tablespoon chopped green onions
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon plus 1 1/2 teaspoons fresh lemon juice
- Freshly ground pepper
- Hot steamed rice
How to cook Garlic Broiled Shrimp:
- Peel and devein shrimp. Set aside.
- Combine butter and next 5 ingredients in a large shallow dish. Add shrimp, tossing to coat well. Cover and marinate in refrigerator at least 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Arrange shrimp in a single layer in a large, shallow baking dish; brush marinade over shrimp. Broil shrimp 4 inches from heat 3 minutes. Turn shrimp, and broil an additional 3 minutes or until shrimp turn pink. Sprinkle with pepper.
- Serve the Garlic Broiled Shrimp with pan drippings over hot steamed rice.
