
Hawaiian Shrimp Kabobs Recipe
Ingredients:
- 18 large shrimps (prawns), peeled and deveined
- 1 can water chestnuts
- 1 cup pineapple, cut in cubes
- Soy Sauce Marinade (see the recipe below)
How to cook Hawaiian Shrimp Kabobs:
- Place shrimps in a bowl. Cover with marinade.
- Refrigerate 1 hour. Drain.
- Alternate shrimp, water chestnuts, and pineapple on long bamboo skewers.
- Cook over hibachi or in oven for 5 minutes on each side.
Soy Sauce Marinade Recipe
Soy Sauce Marinade Ingredients:
- 2 cups soy sauce
- 1 cup pineapple juice
- 1/2 cup sherry
- 1 1/2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 clove garlic, crushed
- 1/2 teaspoon ginger
