
Irish Omelet with Smoked Salmon Recipe
Serves/Makes: 4
Ingredients:
- 1/2 pound smoked salmon, cut into strips
- 1/2 cup cream
- 1/2 cup milk
- 6 eggs
- Salt and fresh milled pepper to taste
How to cook Irish Omelet with Smoked Salmon:
- Heat the cream, add the smoked salmon and simmer for one minute.
- Add two egg yolks, and slowly heat until the mixture thickens.
- Beat together the other 4 eggs and the two remaining egg whites, the milk and salt to taste and bake two omelets out of those.
- When the omelets are almost done, spoon the salmon mixture on top and bake one more minute.
- Sprinkle pepper on top.
