
Korean Clam Soup Recipe
Serves/Makes: 2
Ingredients:
- 10 small or medium clams, cleaned
- 1/6 pack tofu (doo boo)
- 1 green chili pepper (Jalapeno), cut into thin circles
- 1 green onion, chopped
- 1/2 tablespoon salt (or to taste)
- 4 cups water
- 1/2 Korean red chili pepper, sliced horizontally
How to cook Korean Clam Soup:
- In a pot, add water and clams.
- Bring to a boil, reduce heat, just after clams open up take them out.
- Add salt, Jalapeno circles, tofu (doo boo), and chopped green onion. Cook for another minute or so.
- Put clams back to the pot.
- Garnish with strips of Korean red chili pepper.

Tips:
It’s a good idea to buy clams that are firmly closed. Wash the outside of the clams and put them in salted water for about 20 minutes to get rid of possible dirt inside of them.
