
Lancastrian Potted Shrimps Recipe

Ingredients:
- 1 pound brown shrimps, shelled and cleaned
- 3 ounces clarified butter
- 1 tablespoon anchovy’s paste
- 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
How to cook Lancastrian Potted Shrimps:
- Mix the butter with the anchovies paste, the cayenne pepper and the nutmeg.
- Put the shrimps in an oven dish and pour the butter mixture over the shrimps.
- Bake the shrimps 25 minutes at 370°F / 180°C.
- Divide the shrimp mixture between 6 small ramekins, pressing down firmly.
- Pour the butter mixture on top.
- Cover and chill for 1 hours or until set.
