
Lemon Garlic Alaskan Salmon Recipe
Serves/Makes: 2
Ingredients:
- 2 Alaskan salmon steaks or fillets (about 5 to 6 ounces each), thawed if frozen
- 2 tablespoons butter (olive oil may be substituted for the butter)
- 2 teaspoons minced garlic
- 1 teaspoon lemon pepper
- Lemon juice
- Lemon wedges
How to cook Lemon Garlic Alaskan Salmon:
- Melt butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Stir in garlic.
- Season salmon on both sides with lemon pepper.
- Place salmon in pan and cook for 10 minutes per inch of thickness, measured at thickest part, or until fish flakes when tested with a fork.
- Turn salmon halfway through cooking to brown on both sides.
- Sprinkle with lemon juice before serving.
- Garnish with lemon wedges.
