
Pinoy Deep-Fried Shrimps Recipe
Serves/Makes: 3 – 4
Ingredients:
- 1 pound large shrimps
- 1 lemon
- 1/2 cup flour
- 1 egg white
How to cook Pinoy Deep-Fried Shrimps:
- Peel the shrimps, leave the tail on.
- Beat the egg white and mix with the flour and some ice cold water until you have a nice batter.
- Heat oil in a frying pan. Dip the shrimps in the batter and fry during 3 or 4 minutes at 350°F (180°C).
- Sprinkle some lemon juice over the deep-fried shrimps, cut the rest of the lemon in thin slices and serve with the shrimps.
- Serve with cocktail sauce.
