
Pinoy Pinatisang Alimango Recipe
Ingredients:
- 2 female mud crabs (alimango)
- 1 onion, sliced
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons fish sauce (patis)
How to cook Pinoy Pinatisang Alimango:
- Cut the cabs crosswise in halves. Remove the fat (alique), beat, and set aside in a bowl.
- Saute garlic and onion. Add the crabs, then pour the vinegar and season with fish sauce. Add water and bring to a boil.
- Simmer until the crabs are cooked.
- Add the fat of the crabs and cooked for few minutes.
- Serve when done.
Note:

Tips:
If you like the white meat, choose the male crab as this has bigger claws. If you prefer brown meat pick the female, as this has the bigger body.
