
Rice Tuna Pie Recipe
Ingredients:
- 1 (7-ounce) can tuna, drained and coarsely flaked
- 1 1/2 cups packaged precooked rice
- 1 1/2 cups water
- 2 teaspoons butter or margarine
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/3 cup sliced stuffed green olives
- 1/2 cup milk
- 2 eggs, slightly beaten
- 1 envelope Hollandaise-sauce mix
- 1/3 cup mayonnaise or salad dressing
- Paprika
How to cook Rice Tuna Pie:
- Heat oven to 350°F (180°C).
- Prepare rice according to package directions, using the rice, water, butter and salt.
- Mix rice, tuna, olives, milk and eggs; spread evenly in a buttered 9-inch pie plate.
- Prepare Hollandaise sauce according to package directions and cook until thickened.
- Blend in mayonnaise.
- Spread over rice mixture and sprinkle with paprika.
- Bake 25-30 minutes, until it is lightly browned.
