
Scallop Shells Stuffed with Shrimps Recipe
Ingredients:
- 2 handfuls cooked and peeled shrimps
- 1 medium onion
- 7 ounces (200 g) mushrooms
- 2 ounces (60 g) butter
- 3/4 ounce (20 g) butter
- 4 scallop shells
- 1-2 tablespoons flour
- 1/2 pint (1/4 liter) mild brown beer
How to cook Scallop Shells Stuffed with Shrimps:
- Chop a medium onion and mushrooms and fry the lot together in 2 ounces (60 g) butter until the onions are a light brown.
- Line 4 scallop shells with this mixture.
- Melt 3/4 ounce (20 g) ounce butter in a saucepan and work into it the flour, followed by mild brown been, which you must add little by little, stirring constantly.
- Once the sauce is smooth, add to it shrimps, heat the mixture through and divide it between the scallop shells.
- Sprinkle soft breadcrumbs on top, brown under the grill.
- Serve the Scallop Shells Stuffed with Shrimps very hot.
