
Sea Bass Stew (Paksiw na Apahap) Recipe
Ingredients:
- 1 pound sea bass (apahap), dressed and cut into serving pieces
- 1/2 cup apple cider vinegar
- 1/4 cup ginger, sliced in 1/8-inch pieces lengthwise
- Salt or patis (fish sauce) to taste
- 1 hot green pepper
- 1 tablespoon vegetable or corn oil
- 1/2 cup water
How to cook Sea Bass Stew (Paksiw na Apahap):
- Place the sea bass pieces in enamelware or nonaluminum pot.
- Add vinegar, ginger, salt or patis and pepper.
- Cover and bring to boil.
- Add oil and water.
- Turn off heat as soon as the mixture boils again.
