
Seafood Mix and Linguica Soup Recipe
Ingredients:
- 12 clams
- 12 shrimps
- 12 scallops
- 12 mussels
- 3 ounces Portuguese sausage (Linguica)
- Broth
- Medium potato
- 1 medium onion, cubed
- 1 hot cherry pepper
- 1 1/4 cups brown ale*
- 1 Tablespoon red bell pepper
- 1 Tablespoon parsley
- 2 cups water
- Salt and pepper to taste
How to cook Seafood Mix and Linguica Soup:
- Place potato, onion, sausage, cherry pepper, water, and ale in pan.
- Simmer until potato is tender. Add clams, cover, and cook until clams open.
- Remove from heat, remove clams, strain broth, and hold.
- Grill scallops and shrimps over high heat until just cooked.
- Steam mussels (or grill, covered) until open.
- Finely dice red bell pepper and snip parsley.
- Arrange scallops, shrimp, mussels, and clams in bowl garnish.
- Pour over hot broth at table side and enjoy.
