
Shrimp Marinara for Slow Cooker Recipe
Ingredients:
- 1 pound fresh or frozen cooked shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1 pound spaghetti, cooked and drained
- Parmesan cheese, to garnish
- 1 can (14 1/2 ounces) Italian diced tomatoes, undrained
- 1 can (6 ounces) tomato paste
- 3/4 cup water
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons minced fresh parsley
- 1 teaspoon salt, optional
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon dried basil
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
How to cook Shrimp Marinara for Slow Cooker:
- In a slow cooker, combine all Marinara Sauce ingredients.
- Cover and cook on low for 3-4 hours.
- Stir in shrimp. Cover and cook 20 minutes longer or just until shrimp are heated through.
- Serve the Shrimp Marinara over spaghetti.
- Sprinkle individual servings with Parmesan cheese.
