
Simmered Tilapia (Adobong Tilapia) Recipe
Serves/Makes: 2
Ingredients:
- 1/2 kg (approximately 1 pound) medium size tilapia fish
- 5-6 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup vinegar
- 1/3 cup water
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 teaspoon vet-sin
- 2 tablespoons cooking oil
How to cook:
- Scrape scales of fish. Clean.
- Arrange on shallow pan. Add all ingredients.
- Cover. Let boil, then lower heat and simmer for 15 – 20 minutes.
- Serve hot with steamed rice.

The Simmered Tilapia (Adobong Tilapia) is a very affordable dish. Great tasting food is easy to cook and is also healthy.
