
Sweet and Sour Striped Bass Casserole Recipe
Serves/Makes: 2 – 3
Ingredients:
- 1 pounds striped bass fillets
- 2 Tablespoons margarine
- 2 Tablespoons flour
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1/4 cup horseradish (optional, but good!)
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
- 2 teaspoons wine vinegar
- 1-1/2 teaspoons sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon dry mustard
- Hungarian paprika
How to cook:
- Preheat oven to 425 degrees F.
- In a pan, melt margarine, add flour, and cook 1 to 2 minutes.
- Stir in sour cream, horseradish, lemon juice, wine vinegar, sugar and mustard.
- Spread 1/2 of mixture in bottom of casserole dish arrange striped bass fillets on top, cover with the remainder of mixture.
- Sprinkle with Hungarian paprika.
- Cover with foil and bake for about 20 minutes.
