
Thai Asparagus with Shrimp and Black Mushrooms Recipe
Ingredients:
- 1/2 pound shrimp
- 1 pound fresh asparagus
- 1 ounce dried Chinese black mushrooms
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 3 tablespoons oyster sauce
- 2 to 4 red chile peppers, seeded and sliced (optional)
How to cook Thai Asparagus with Shrimp and Black Mushrooms:
- Shell and devein shrimp; set aside.
- Rinse asparagus; peel and trim stems.
- Soak mushrooms in warm water for 15 minutes; drain and discard stems. Leave caps whole.
- Steam shrimp, asparagus and mushrooms for 10 minutes, or until the shrimp are cooked. Remove from steamer and arrange on a platter.
- In a skillet heat oil; add garlic and cook until light brown.
- Stir in oyster sauce, then pour over shrimp platter.
- Serve the Thai Asparagus with Shrimp and Mushrooms hot.

- Add shrimp, asparagus, oyster sauce and red chile peppers; stir-fry for 3 minutes.
