
Thai Steamed Clams with Fresh Ginger Recipe
Ingredients:
- 2 pounds fresh clams
- 2 cloves garlic, chopped
- 1/2 onion, thinly sliced
- 3 green onions, cut into 2-inch lengths
- 2 tablespoons thinly slivered ginger
- 1 to 2 tablespoons Thai yellow bean sauce*
- 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
- 1 to 2 red chile peppers, seeded and cut into thin strips (optional)
How to cook Thai Steamed Clams with Fresh Ginger:
- Rinse clams.
- Combine all the remaining ingredients to make a sauce.
- Pour sauce over clams and mix well.
- Steam for 15 minutes, or until clams open up.
