
Tilapia with Sweet and Spicy Tomato Sauce Recipe
Ingredients:
- 4 tilapia fillets (about 6 ounces each)
- 1 cup corn flour
- 1/4 cup fish sauce
- 1/2 cup cooking oil
- 2 large tomatoes, diced
- 1 large onion, finely chopped
- 2 red chili
- 2 tablespoons fish sauce
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons water
How to cook Tilapia with Sweet and Spicy Tomato Sauce:
- Saute onion until fragrant.
- Add tomatoes and chili and stir fry for about 3 minutes.
- Add water and simmer for about 5 minutes stirring occasionally.
- Season the tilapia fillets with fish sauce.
- Dip in corn flour then deep fry until crispy.
- Transfer the fish to a large platter. Ladle the sauce over the fish and serve immediately.
