
Turtle Ragout Recipe
Serves/Makes: 6 – 8
Ingredients:
- 2 pounds turtle meat, diced
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 tablespoons butter or margarine
- 1 tablespoon flour
- 1 cup water
- 1/4 cup sherry
- 1 clove garlic, minced
How to cook Turtle Ragout:
- Saute onion in butter or margarine until tender.
- Blend in flour.
- Add remaining ingredients and simmer for 30 minutes.
