
Indian Prawn and Mango Curry Recipe
Ingredients:
- 1 pound peeled prawns (shrimps)
- 2 large green mangoes
- 1 coconut, grated (shredded)
- 6 green chilies
- 4 cloves garlic
- 4 onions, chopped
- 1 sprig fresh curry leaves
- 1 tablespoon oil
- Salt to taste
How to cook Indian Prawn and Mango Curry:
- Peel the mangoes, chop into small pieces then leave in a bowl of water to avoid discoloration.
- Grind the coconut, chilies, garlic and onions to a paste and place in a pan with the drained mangoes, prawns, curry leaves and oil.
- Simmer gently until hot then add the water and season to taste with salt. Bring to the boil and simmer gently until the ghee appears on the surface.
- Serve the Indian Prawn and Mango Curry hot with steamed plain rice.
