
Pinoy Nilasing na Hipon Recipe
Serves/Makes: 2 – 3
Ingredients:
- 1 pound shrimps
- 2 cups white wine (you may also use either gin, vodka, or beer)
- 3 cups flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 3 cups cooking oil
How to cook Pinoy Nilasing na Hipon:
- Saute garlic, onions and tomatoes (do not overcooked). Add hot water together with ampalaya, okra and sitaw simmer for 10 minutes.
- Separately boil squash and eggplant for 5 minutes. When 10 minutes is over add half-cooked squash and eggplant together with salted shrimps (bagoong alamang).
- Simmer for another 5 minutes uncovered. Add fish sauce to taste.
