
Tuna Oriental Casserole Recipe
Ingredients:
- 2 cans (7 ounces each) tuna
- 2 cups chow mein noodles, divided
- 1 (10 3/4-ounce) condensed cream of mushroom soup
- 1 (5-ounce) can water chestnuts, quartered
- 1 (6-ounce) package frozen pea pods, thawed
- 1 (4-ounce) can sliced mushrooms, drained
- 1 (2-ounce) can chopped pimiento, drained
- 1/4 cup chopped green peppers
- 2/3 cup milk
- 2 teaspoons soy sauce
How to cook Tuna Oriental Casserole:
- Heat oven to 350°F (180°C).
- Pour 1 cup of the chow mein noodles in the bottom of a lightly greased 2-quart casserole.
- In large bowl, mix remaining ingredients and pour on top of noodles.
- Cover with remaining 1 cup of chow mein noodles.
- Bake uncovered 35 to 40 minutes, or until mixture bubbles.
